Recording and analyzing data

RTMaps allows acquisition and replay of all types of data. If a device can be connected to a computer, RTMaps can exchange data with it. All information, even from multiple sensors, is dated and synchronized during acquisition. The replaying of these data reproduces exactly the real situation.

Simplicity of development

The total independence vis-à-vis sensors and actuators offers many options for the implementation of multi sensors projects. Substitution of sensors, addition of components and enrichment of the libraries contribute to the great added values of RTMaps. Moreover, the applications are independent of the operating system and the processors.

Sharing data


The possible modification and sharing of components, diagrams and data bases, allow their capitalization. RTMaps is not only a technology but also a methodology allowing the co-operation between people and teams.

Reproducting the reality

RTMaps allows the measure of data which constitute unique real life scenarios. These scenarios can be shared and read again and again: they make "reproducible" any single real situation. Thanks to synchronization, they are replayed exactly such as they were. Once the acquisition campaign is achieved, the data is used at will in laboratory.

Economic and financial benefits

The use of real life scenarios reduces the need for tests in situation. Most of these tests are done in laboratory with the data previously gathered. The expensive trial runs are limited; applications are more quickly operational. The possibility of exchanging or of re-using components, diagrams and data brings productivity and facilitates co-operation between teams. Rapid prototyping

RTMaps creates a link between experimentation and simulation. It is thus a formidable tool to develop, test and validate applications, methods and algorithms. Data fusion especially is facilitated thanks to the data synchronization. It is then possible to embark the application onto the prototype without any algorithm changes. Each application can be deployed on multiple environments.

Control of time

When replaying data, RTMaps gives user a total control over the time flow. The data synchronization associated to the intuitiv RTMaps VCR functions (slowed down, accelerated, step by step...) allow an extremely precise data and event analysis. This is very usefull for processing algorithms and data fusion tuning.
